So I've finally decided on a tattoo design.. It's been a few years since I got my last one and I was wondering where to go...There are so many studios! Any ideas from any of you tagged ones?

Wed, May 7, 2008 - 8:40 AMActually I would love to see something on your upper arm. Your muscles are so defined and if you found something that accented the musculature, it would look beautiful. But it is an entirely visible tattoo, so I'd check with your work.
OR:
Something across your shoulder blades connecting your older piece! I like big tattoos. -

Wed, May 7, 2008 - 9:22 AMi highly recommend Mat Zabas, hes my tattoo artist and ive been getting work from him for the last 16 years. he works in encinitas at a place called 454 tattoo.
i also highly recommend Billy, while ive never had work done by him ive sat next to him in Mat's chair for years and been consistantly amazed at the quality of his work, many of my friends are his clients.
whats more, the good people at 454 have regular art shows at the studio where all the tattoo artists make a piece of art and auction it off to benefit the humane society, breast cancer fund, or some other noble cause.

Wed, May 7, 2008 - 10:11 AMMy son got his first tat from Mat at 454. They have a great selection of gauged ear rings, but wait...I digress. Also Chronic Tattoo is great! Melodia got her tiger there and I got my newist tat on my side. Flower with some mendi, it looks great. I went to Geo, but Melodia went to the owner...Mike I believe his name is. -
